The transition from university to industry was made easy for me by Viega.

On completion of my mechanical engineering studies at Cologne Technical University, I started my professional career in the R&D department of the family-owned Viega company. My job is very varied. I have a lot of responsibility and work with people from many disciplines. It is fascinating to observe the progress of a development, from the first idea on the designer’s PC to the assembly and testing in production and the final product delivered to the customer. It is fun to work in a project team and to plan and implement new production processes with a high degree of responsibility from the outset. Teamwork is one of my main tasks in R&D. At Viega I have the chance to work on different projects, to take responsibility and thus to rapidly further my personal and professional development.
I have taken advantage of a number of advanced training courses to prepare myself better for future tasks at Viega. In this way I can continue to develop and help to shape the company’s future.
