A new fire protection concept in the “Statue of Liberty” ensures that the famous symbol of freedom is invulnerable to fire.
The core of the concept is an innovative, highly-sensitive system to detect smoke. Minimal smoke quantities are specifically fed through a complex ventilation system to the fire alarm sensor. As a result, the alarm is then triggered considerably earlier. The network of pipes was designed using the Profipress( in Europe:Profipress) copper piping system.
