The new “Allianz Arena” in Munich is doubtlessly one of the most beautiful stadia in Europe. For example, one superlative feature is the 64,000 square metre roof made of 2,874 airbags, which are pumped from giant ventilators in the heart of the stadium.

This distinct architecture is strengthened by the interplay of colours as the translucent stadium shell gleams in a choice of white, red or blue.

Not as spectacular, but planned down to the last detail and designed with top-quality skill are the “inner workings” of the “Allianz Arena”. What this looks like in detail becomes clear when you take a look into the approx. 40 square metre VIP boxes. These cost between 90,000 and 240,000 EUR in rent every year. However, the up to twelve visitors per box also expect the finest ambiance for this price. The boxes were equipped with the highest quality materials in accordance with the individual desires of the tenants; the very exclusive of these boxes are even equipped with showers.

A free hand regarding fitting meant a challenge for the construction. The pre-wall system “Steptec” from Viega offered the perfect solution. This allowed the trouble-free realisation of even the most exotic room designs, which were pre-assembled in the workshop as complete booths.

Integrated Viega Systems:

  • Sanpress in various nominal widths
  • Red brass press connectors
  • Steptec
