Meeting hygiene standards with pre-wall technology from Viega
The Heinz food processing plant in Pudliszki, Poland, is one of the corporation’s most advanced facilities worldwide. About 100,000 tons of processed food are produced there each year, including ketchup, sauces, pickles, tomato juice, ready meals, tomato concentrate and mustard. Due to the exacting hygiene standards, high-end sanitary solutions from Viega were selected for installation in the employee washrooms in 2012.
Hygienic and aesthetic in front of the wall
Food processing plants are subject to especially demanding hygiene standards. In meeting these standards, modern Viega flush plates were installed in the washrooms, allowing contactless flushing of toilets. Furthermore, if the sanitary facility is used irregularly, the flush plates perform automatic hygienic flushes at predetermined intervals. This electronically controlled process eliminates the risks associated with stagnant water in the system. The extremely smooth surfaces of the flush plates also make it easy to keep them clean.
For the WCs, Visign for Care flush plates made of durable and attractive plastic were used. For the urinals, Visign for Public equipment sets made of metal were chosen.
Robust and economical behind the wall
Behind the wall, dozens of high quality Viega Eco Plus pre-wall elements were installed in the toilets and urinals at the Heinz factory. Whether installed in standalone form or in a row, they ensure easy installation as well as trouble-free reliable operation. The Viega Eco Plus series also comes equipped with water-saving cisterns, which significantly reduce the amount of water consumed for flushing.
