Viega technology in front of and behind the wall
Frequented by the alpinist and actor Luis Trenker, the hotel “Zum Rosenbaum” in Nalles near Bolzano, Italy, has seen a series of reconstructions and extensions. Overall, the project planned by the architect Alberto Micheletti from Bolzano has resulted in the technological and aesthetic modernisation of the facilities in addition to optimisation of the energy class of the building, based on the original 17th century walls.
Comfortable and elegant bathrooms
The bathrooms of the eight refurbished rooms and suites use the Viega Eco Plus prewall system in combination with Visign for Style 12 flush plates. They underline the minimalistic design which doesn’t compromise comfort and which reflects local tradition through wood and ceramic finishings.
In addition, the Viega Advantix shower drain with stainless steel grate has been installed. Characterized by a minimalist and elegant design language, it integrates perfectly into the hotel’s bathrooms.
Quality behind the walls
The heating and drinking water systems had been selected by the installation company Psenner Heizungsbau from Nalles. They appreciate the reliability and practicability of Viega piping systems and therefore chose Prestabo with galvanised steel pipes and press connectors for the heating installation. For the drinking water installation their choice fell on Sanfix Fosta with multilayer PE-Xc pipes and gunmetal press connectors.
