Nursery School Maria Bambina

Clever solutions for small kids

A building dating back over a century in the centre of Lissone, Italy, houses the nursery school Maria Bambina. Here, at the request of the parish, the architect Ernestino Fossati designed the new bathrooms for the children. From the colours to the dimensional and functional characteristics he chose solutions that are perfectly adapted to the needs of children.

Remote flush actuation

Ease of use and hygiene in these bathrooms designed for children are essential. Therefore Viega’s Visign for Public flush plates offered the ideal solution in combination with the Viega Mono Slim WC block. The remote flush actuation of Visign for Public provides easy access to children, since the actuation button is displaced with respect to the cistern. This is made possible by the Bowden cable with a length of two metres that allows distances of up to 1.7 metres between cistern and actuation button.

The inspection chamber of the cistern is closed by a cover plate of brushed stainless steel. This finish is also used for the actuation button. It enables thorough cleaning and ensures maximum hygiene without the surface itself being affected. In addition to the surface, the Visign for Public series mechanisms are solid as well, making it the ideal solution also for schools and other public settings.
