Comfort thanks to Viega surface heating system
Since 1893, the name of the Cecchi family is synonymous with top quality wines. In 1996, the family took over the winery "Val delle Rose" in Poggio la Mozza, Italy, where in addition to optimising agronomic cultivation they built a new winery in 2014. The building now is a functional combination of wine cellar, reception for clients and visitors as well as administration.
For the heating of the reception and the administrative part of the building a Viega surface heating system had been chosen: Fonterra Base with a 15 mm diameter polybutene pipe. The flexibility of this pipe remains unaffected even at very low temperatures, allowing installation of the system even during the winter months.
Low environmental impact
Compared to traditional radiators that need a supply temperature of about 70° C, surface heating systems offer a reduction of energy consumption of up to 20%. They provide an even and comfortable heat distribution with a supply temperature between 35 and 40° C.
Another advantage is the aesthetic factor: Surface heating and cooling systems are unobtrusive and do not take up space. This way the rooms of the new winery of the Val delle Rose estate guarantee the Cecchi brand quality and sophistication.
