A wellness dream becomes reality
A house-owner from Wanzleben in Germany was looking for somewhere to relax and de-stress. He took the decision, with professional assistance, to convert a 35 square metre unused basement into a welcoming wellness oasis. He realised his dream with an array of technical features, design products, clever ideas, and perfection of workmanship. His family's wellness paradise now incorporates whirlpool, sauna and relaxation room. A heated rest area on a raised platform is an inviting spot to chill out, chat and watch TV.
The bathtub fitting with memory
A technically and aesthetically notable feature detail of the whirlpool bath is the electronically controlled Multiplex Trio E3 fitting. Small, compact and sleek in design, but easy to control: Just enter the desired temperature and bath water level, press the button – and everything is set up automatically. The settings can also be personalised for multiple users: Multiplex Trio "knows" how each family member likes their bath. The fitting is a space-saving feature and can be installed flexibly on the rim of the bath as here, or alternatively in a plinth or mounted on the wall – in line with individual bathroom design requirements. All the control functions are fully integrated into two minimalist units in 55 and 58 millimetre diameters.
The channel for any application
The elegantly minimalist shower in the Wanzleben wellness oasis integrates beautifully thanks to its porcelain stoneware tiles. Because there are no stainless steel profiles, the water basin in the shower appears to rise seamlessly up from the floor. The extremely slim but high-performance Advantix Vario shower channel is installed in front of it. Its metal grate with a width of just four millimetres integrates subtly into the tiled floor. This provides a completely barrier-free standing area when showering. Advantix Vario is
also fully variable in length which enables the shower channel to be adjusted precisely to the room design.
