Future technologies: Viega brings impulses to ISH 2025

Attendorn, 27 March 2025

Sustainable, digital, future-oriented – this is how Viega presented itself at the ISH 2025 in Frankfurt. The focus of the trade fair was on innovative solutions that are actively shaping the transformation of the building sector: They promote the heat transition and strengthen the protection of potable water. More than 200 Viega experts accompanied visitors every day through a multimedia stand concept that impressed with its expertise and dialogue orientation throughout five days of the trade fair.

After an intense week, the world’s leading trade fair for HVAC and water came to an end on 21 March. More than 160,000 visitors from 150 countries used the platform to find out about the twin transformation of the industry – the combination of digitalisation and sustainability. Viega, the global market and technology leader in the installation sector with headquarters in Attendorn, Germany, presented pioneering solutions for water-bearing systems and digital construction.

“We are delighted with the response from our market partners,” said Dirk Gellisch, member of the Viega Management Board. “In innumerable conversations, we were able to discuss the key challenges facing the industry and demonstrate the contribution our technologies can make to overcoming them.”

Focus on potable water, the heat transition and digitalisation

On more than 1,300 square metres of exhibition space, Viega addressed three key issues for the future: the protection of potable water, the energy transition in the building sector and the digital transformation. After all, buildings are responsible for almost 40 percent of the world’s CO₂ emissions – at the same time, climate change is increasingly threatening the quality and availability of potable water. With integrated installation solutions, Viega showed how these challenges can be mastered with expertise in the areas of heating, water and digital construction.

The new, thematically structured stand concept was particularly well received. Tradespeople, decision-makers from industry and trade, the construction and housing sectors, as well as planners, engineers and architects were not only able to test products and systems, but also to learn more and experience them first-hand at interactive stations.

Teamwork as the key to success

More than 200 of Viega’s over 5,500 employees worldwide contributed to the success of the trade fair every day at the stand. Dirk Gellisch emphasises: “The fact that we can look back on such a successful ISH is primarily thanks to the great commitment of our team – both in direct customer contact at the trade fair and in the months of preparation behind the scenes. Our success is a strong team effort.“
