These are data that we obtain directly from you and information that you enter or submit on Viega websites and microsites, such as:
- Contact data (for example telephone number, email address)

- Access details for portals and applications (for example, user name and password)
- News, newsletter subscription, participation in events.
This includes data that we receive directly from you as well as information that you send on Viega websites. There is both mandatory information (which is labelled as such) and optional information.

As part of the Viega applications requiring registration, we must collect and process certain personal data from you as your access data.

Newsletter
We inform you about new products, upcoming events and news from the Viega companies via our newsletter, which we compile according to areas of interest (e.g. for installers, technical building services planners, architects, wholesalers or supply companies).
You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. You can also revoke your consent to the storage of personal data at any time. There is a corresponding link in every newsletter for this purpose. You can also unsubscribe by sending an email to communications@viega.com.

Data transfer
Our employees who are responsible for sending the newsletter can view your data. Our partner Salesforce (salesforce.com Germany GmbH, Erika-Mann-Straße 31, 80636 Munich, privacy@salesforce.com) is responsible for the dispatch and technical support of our newsletter. Your data will not be transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Storage period
We delete your data when you have cancelled your last newsletter subscription.
Legal basis
The legal basis for this processing of your personal data and the sending of the newsletter is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).
We store the IP address in order to track misuse of our email service and your email address and to be able to pass it on in the event of enquiries from law enforcement authorities (Art. 6 (1) (c), (f) GDPR).

Our events are very important to us because the topics are important to us. We are therefore also interested in publishing image and sound recordings of the event and its participants on the company website, in social media channels or in newsletters for external presentation and reporting.
